The course benefits the learner in terms of rendering information holistically about the history and emergence of online learning as an effective process for both the development and delivery of learning contents in either a synchronous or asynchronous manner. The learning contents of the course are developed based on the application of the VARK technique. VARK stands as the acronym for visual, auditory, reading/writing, and finally kinaesthetic. The incorporation of the learning techniques is made for making the contents interactive in nature. The ‘Visual’ aspect is addressed based on the application of pictures, smart arts, and graphs along with written content. The ‘Auditory’ aspect is addressed based on the incorporation of videos put forward by the course instructor in alignment with the different sessions of the course. The visual and auditory aspects are also addressed in terms of incorporating video materials containing links to different videos in alignment with the different sessions.

Likewise, the ‘Reading’ aspect is addressed based on the incorporation of study materials associated to the different sessions. Dr. Sabyasachi Dasgupta, an MBA from Calcutta University, a Doctorate from MICA, MDHEA from Symbiosis, Pune and a teacher by profession, has commanded prominent positions in several corporate and academic giants for more than 12 years.
